1st 1964 Vert. that was sold.

I think she was tipping the ole bottle a couple times before the video was recorded. Too bad all the sheet metal except for the hood and trunk lid was replaced. Not much originality was left.

You gotta admit, though, the hood looks pretty damn original. Wasn't there a story about a white convertible S/N 000001 being sold to an airline pilot by mistake when the Mustangs were touring the country and an enthusiastic salesman sold one of the display cars? The story was that Ford finally bought the car back for the Ford Museum in 1966 by seducing the owner with the 1,000,000 th Mustang built, which was also a white convertible, and a bunch of Benjamins? I wonder what the VIN on this lady's car is.

Yeah, that was the old man talking. Translated: Of all the bolt-on stuff, only the hood and trunk lid are original (fenders and doors replaced). I'm guessing all the frame pieces as well as the quarter panels are largely original.
