COTM earns Best of Show this afternoon

I am pleased to report that our very own MD69BOSS (Dana) received the Best of Show recognition at the Cool Cars Show in Saratoga, CA. There was a wide cross section of great cars and some outrageous competition (Bugatti Veyron for example). As we already know, Dana's car is a very worthy competitor and does its owner proud. I had a great time along with cmayna, kbmwrs, bebop390 and Mrs bebop390 as well as several local friends showing other makes today. Congrats Dana for this well deserved award.

Was a lot of fun out there today with the fellas...
The award was cool, but its still the driving these cars that continues to put the ear to ear grin on my face!

Sorry Craig, I was interrupted by the doorbell as I was about to include you in the OP. By the time I returned to the computer a brain fart prevented me from remembering where I was and then I hit the "Enter key". :hs

Expanding on the award presentation, the beautiful young lady at Craig's side is the owner of a Bar in town called "The Bank" so the assumption is that as a local business member of the Chamber of Commerce, she sponsored the award and perhaps the Bullitt theme of Craig's car might have had a role in assuring him the win. And yes even though no picture was offered up, she did plant a big kiss on Craig's cheek, (one of the cheeks on his face). Congrats Craig!!!
 
It looks he has trouble NOT to look behind the plaque :whis :whis
