What is the correct jamb gap for the doors, hood & deck lid?

Originally ugh...............about 1/8" to 1/4", the factory was not too accurate. To keep things simple, I use a paint stick as a gauge for the doors, fenders, hood and trunk lid. Looks good and is a little better than the factory.

The bottom of the door to rocker panel gap will be larger, probably double the others.

if you are looking for factory specs, then they are available in the shop manuals as illustrated below for a 69. other years are probably similar.
the gaps are different depending on which one you are talking about.
of course you can get a whole lot closer than the factory if you really want.
as far a using paint sticks for setting the gaps, all i can say is that stir sticks are very inconsistent.

Thanks for the info, this spec sheet is very helpful. I used a micromator on my paint sticks. LOL
