Fire Extinguisher Seat Mount

I bought a Halon Extinguisher at Summit Racing since I had a discount. But, could not decide where to mount it.
So, I decided on making a bracket that uses the seats bolts (passenger side). This is not a new idea. I think I saw it on a vette forum :chair

It is just some 16gauge steel bought at a hardware store. Bent to the seat angle and painted. 16ga is not to strong. But, with the bends in it. It is not moving.
Note: The seat can't move forward anymore because of it. But, I have never moved the seat anyways.

You need pictures. right?

I need to do that, mine is just rolling around on the back floor board
nice work, I may copy that!

I'm using this, it worked out pretty good:

Its out of the way and its close enough to grab it from the drivers seat.

I have a console also. So the passenger seat mount was perfect.

It cost a total of $7. Next time I would use 22ga instead of 16 just to make it a little stronger.

Ummm...16 gauge is thicker than 22 gauge.
