For those that made it to Charlotte for the 50th and saw the original '64 Indy pace car and thought "oh man I'd love to have that!" You can!! It can be all yours for a paltry million + 99k.

I bet you could talk them down to $1,097K. Besides, wouldn't those flags be annoying when you drive it down to the Saturday evening cruise in? Just sayin.
 
Ya know, much like Obama Care, a joke isn't very funny when you have to explain it. I was kidding, Mike. Picture some doofus driving that million dollar car down to the local retro restaurant show and shine with the checkered flags flapping in the wind. The joke part was the idea of driving that car to a local cruise-in. Further, the joke was also the idea that the same idiot would have the checkered flags on the car as he drove it. Finally, the idea that someone would try to negotiate the seller's price of $1,099K down by $2K sort of tickled my sense of humor as well. Maybe I'm getting a little obtuse in retirement. I just thought the whole picture was sort of a slice out of "Dumb And Dumber". I guess I missed.
 
And here all I could think of from your reply was about all of those folks driving around with those annoying drip rail mounted football team flags! LOL
