Putting the TCI front suspension on. Wondering if anybody that has done that used the 2 inch dropped spindles. That's what I was planning on doing but I'm a little concernrd about tire rub. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Gary,

I responded in the other thread. If you are using the adjustable coil overs you will be in good shape. Otherwise it may be too low.

it is a Ford Motorsport 306 cu in crate motor. Rated at 340 horse before the fuel injection and computer work. Its a great motor and picked up for a good deal back in the day. Aluminum heads, roller rockers, roller cam, etc...all new except as the call it a "seasoned" block.

I like it so much that I am thinking about putting the same motor in me early Bronco.

Thanks.Would you mind sharing with me whose headers you used and part # if you have it still. Also any issues that you may have encountered putting the engine in. Did you use the fox body rear sump pan or an aftermarket pan? I have some people telling me you can't get the engine as low as you would like because of the pan issue and cross member.

I used Sanderson headers. They are a short tube header but I had problems making them fit. The first set they sent me the right header interfered with the starter and bell housing. They sent me a replacement set saying they made a mistake. The second set had a problem fitting on the left side. So, I used the left header from the first set and the right header from the second set. I can dig up the part numbers this weekend for you. As for the oil pan, I used the double sump oil pan that came on the engine from Ford. It fit over the TCI cross member and power rack and pinion steering assembly with zero problems using the 302 engine mounts from TCI. I am happy to send you pictures of anything, just make a list of what you would like to see. Also, send me a private message if you would like my phone number to talk about any of this.
