Interesting way to power a 67

Seen a jet car at Bristol take off one time. I think it was called the Green Monster or Mamba or something. When it took off it peeled a layer of asphalt and blew out the glass in the tower and injured a camera man. Those things are wild.

I like the simplicity of the interior, but I agree that the lack of a cup holder could be a drawback. Some years back I headed to a rally point with my 69 Vette at O Dark Hundred and stopped at a Starbucks for a Veinte(sp?) dark roast. Got into the car and realized I couldn't hold the hot coffee, turn the steering wheel, operate the clutch and shift the gears all at the same time. Thank God the cell phone didn't ring. I chucked the coffee out the window and proceeded. Wouldn't even attempt the old coffee cup in the crotch solution.

Wouldn't want to be in the driver's seat if that thing threw a rotor.

They run a jet car at the NMRA at Beech Bend every year.
