lca bolt

What is the length and size of the lca bolt. Not looking for the correct bolt, just one that will fit until I figure out what bolt/setup I'm gonna use. Just need to bolt in the lca to make the car a roller. I have John's (Opentracker) style lca's with the spherical bearing, so I'm not sure whether you use the eccentric style bolt or not with it. Again just looking for a bolt to fit for mockup.

I called him this morning and left a message. I'm sure he'll get back to me when he's got a minute.

My application was different and the bolt I used is extremely large. Long story but I wish I could have helped you out.

I bought a 1/2 inch by 4 inch bolt just for mockup, I'm sure it's too small but it will work for what I'm trying to accomplish.

It's a 1/2'' bolt. The ones for our camber kits are 4.5" long so that 4" bolt should work.

Hey John, so if I don't have a camber kit, then what bolt do I use? Do I need the eccentric bolt or with this setup do you suggest your camber kit.

Bill

I checked and our camber kit bolts are 1/2" X 4". My bad.

The eccentrics work OK on a street car if there isn't any hard cornering. They have been known to slip when considerable side load is put on them. For a performance driven car, I would use a plate system instead of the eccentric.
