Leaf Spring Crack ?

I bought some 4.5 leaf - Mid eye leaf springs from Dallas Mustang a couple months ago. I went to install them Saturday and noticed what looked like a crack on one. Is this bad and should I return it?

If that is a real crack , then these springs are of poor quality IMHO.

You gotta wonder who does the quality control for these places. Not only the dealer,but the manufacturer. I know most of it comes from China,But come on, that's the freakin grand canyon that nobody spotted. Almost like they tried to push it through with the hope no one sees it. Not the manufacturer or Dallas. If anything,Dallas should have caught it.

Dallas Mustang replaced both springs today without any hassle. While I was there, I found out that they bought the C&S Performace Dyno.
