Little Red Vert

Cleaned up the Red Convertable today and took it for a drive through town. She ran like a sewing machine and did not mind the 100* temperature. Please no COTM nominations as I pre decline. Here's some photos for your enjoyment.

I've had it for about 12 years. Actually an Arizona car and was rust free when I bought her. It is the second Mustang I restored. The temps have been around 100 this week and I thought I'd get her out for some night driving. I always liked to cruise at night but around here we seldom have nights warm enough to do so. I plan on taking the big boss out tonight for a drive. The Vert is a 66 "C" code 289 with the "Pony" interior option, she was a MCA Concourse gold winner. Oh, I have 10 in the barn and all run except the 429 "J" code which is in fairly rough shape except the engine which has been rebuilt and looks like new. It will be my next project. I have been buying parts for the last 10 years and storing them so that when I start the resto the cost will not scare me.

Here's a quick tour. Most have been seen on here except two of the Mach Ones which need restoration.
