Then just mount it on the hipo backing.

I personally have the same badge but it says 302 instead of 5.0... I figured I don't have a 5.0 because I don't have EFI.

I think you overlooked the backing plate actually says "high output". I had considered getting the H.O. backing plate and the 302 emblem for my coupe since I DO have an EFI 5.0 (personally, I don't care to much for the 5.0 emblem. To each his own though). I figured screw it, I went for the original stlye HiPo backing plate and 289 emblem. Let someone try to figure it out without lifting the hood!
