I've seen that car a lot over the years and it has looked like that a long time. These pics are from 2008

Hmmmmm, if he's trying to pass it for an original, he has failed. Hood and all fiberglass parts were lacquered.

wouldn't think they are trying to pass it as original, or the fenders/qtrs wouldn't be different from the door, but whatever work was done on it is really old.... i wouldn't kick it out of my garage, lol!

something else kinda puzzling ... i went to the big NSRA show in knox 2 weeks ago, & the goodguys show yesterday, & both were surprisingly lacking in mustangs. only saw a couple early 65-66 cars worth looking at in knox & don't remember seeing anything above a 68 at all. yesterday at the goodguys show here, there werent many. the "big dogs" were there. the ring bros. had their new orange/black fastback on display, that white 71 with all the body mods (there was a thread on that one recently) & that copper/black 67-68 fastback with the blown 4.6 (cant remember who built it) was there. i would guess that for every 15 camaros there would be one mustang. what gives?

Same thing last year in Syracuse. Didn't seem there were that many stangs there. I think it has more to do with the Mustang only shows that go on across the country than anything else. I know the local shows around here were and still are top heavy with GM products because of GM Powertrain plant,Delphi radiator and the old American Axel plant and all the cars that were sold at the time.

We were there also with my 65. The black 66 convertable in the builders class was nice and had a few subtle touches. There was a red 67 or 68 with a modular conversion also there. I didn't get a chance to see it ,but was told it was a fairly clean build ,but still liked a little work.

didn't see yours there. where were you parked? gotta let somebody know when your out & about. we would have hooked up for a while. guess everyone there got lucky when that rain passed thru sat. ended up dumping hail in the areas all around the stadium....

We were probably 100yrds from the builders class. I was parked in the musclecar category on the front roll. I wasn't planning on going back sunday, but we were chosen for an award and had to have the car there for the award ceremonies and cruise. Ended up being a good weekend. Next time I'll let ya'll guys know and we can get together. I'll diffently be in bowling green,KY in october for the NMRA event again.
