Ok, I gotta brag on this one....NEW 65-67 Flaming river 16:1 steering box-$150 Bucks.
Steel Scatter shield 150 bucks.

Got both items delivered to the Wife's workplace for the 300! Whew Hoo!
I have been hoarding parts for the 65 FB resto, and had 2 used steering boxes, but this is cheaper than a rebuilt box. I hope it hasn't any issues. That's the gamble with CL!

He also had a new in box comp cam, and some aluminum pulleys that I passed on.

Would you have pulled the trigger?

Steering box arrived, but it is not the long shaft...that's Ok, it will work. No worries. as far as the cam that was new in box...it was a comp cam...and I shyed away after reading about their failures. I thought about the pulleys, but don't really need them. I don't know, I may go back and get them. Anyone know anything about the comp cam with a 281/281 duration, and a 512/512 lift? Is it a hot cam? Would you trust it to make it through break in?

Scored again! Autolite 4100 1.12 venturi for 45 bucks. He threw in a can of freon 12 for another 15 bucks. Whew hooo!
