Someone hit my wife's truck

She was out shopping and saw that someone hit her truck and drove away (She did not see it happen). She is very bummed right now. 59 are a bear to find any parts. The custom version is even harder. Broke one of the brand new halogen lights also.

Could have been worse, they could have left a note:

Sorry to hear. Maybe this will make you laugh for a moment, then go back to hating stupid people. Good luck finding the replacement parts.

If I were to ever hit a vehicle, I would not leave the scene. It's why I have full coverage. I can get yours and mine fixed for $250 (deductible).

That sucks and maybe karma will get it's revenge!

People continue to disgust me. My wife’s 2015 has been hit at least 4 times in the last two years in parking lot scrapes. No notes left. Terrible drivers, they know they did it but can’t take responsibility. Sorry to see the damage John. I love that truck

Its all part of the "me only" culture. People just don't care anymore, they are so wrapped up in what they are doing (facebook, instagram, twiter), nobody else matters. Like we care what you are eating...………….. I got hit from behind while stopped, because the lady was on Instagram.

Hope you can get it fixed without too much drama.

Man that sucks! People are assbags.

I have my cars hit many times and never a note. People don't want to take responsibility for their own actions anymore.

I watched one guy hit my car, get out to check for damage and get back in his car to drive away. If I hadn't stopped him. Then he claims he didn't hit it. Big scrape all down my back bumper which had just been replaced from someone else hitting it.

I now have dashcams I'm all my cars. They will record if it senses a shock, but if hit from the rear you're not going to see it.

The boss had an F150 with the factory surround camera system. It was impressive. When we had a “shop” I moved it inside, so I got an overhead view of the truck. Imagine if a drone was flying above and looking down.
Add motion sensors to record activity.
