speedometer cable for a TKO600 into a 65?

Modern Driveline was able to have one made for my T-5 to stock 65 speedo. You might give them a call.

If you have a local Speedometer shop, you can always get a cable that is too long and have it cut to fit. I did this on both Red and Shag for I never liked the stock length. Too long.

now that you mention it, a stock one might work but I had to have one special made due to the VSS on the transmission for the EFI.

Forgot about that!

I have always tried the stock one first. I can then use it to figure out the length I need. I uesd the stock one with my T5 but had to have a longer one made for my T56. I used a local speedo shop for that.

If you're using a stock ford VSS, then an original stock speedo cable will work. That's what I was using until I swapped over to an electric speedo.

I think all you need is a stock cable for an automatic transmission because the connection is the DS not the PS like the toploader.
