I had some time today and decided to see if I was going to have any throttle linkage issues switching from the MassFlo to the Holley HP EFI throttle body. And yes there are problems, the Holley unit is much wider and so wide it doesn't fit between the fuel rails on the Torker II intake I have. See the photos below.......
First thought was it looks like I'm going to have to get a different intake, a search yielded only one MPFI intake that will allow me to use the Holley HP system I have, a $420 unit from Fast. Not sure even if it will work as I don't know the height. After the shock wore off I began to think and may have a simpler solution. If I can have the top rail modified so it would have extensions that would slip over the top of the injectors, looks like an inch would be sufficient, I would have enough clearance for this to work. Any opinions of other solutions? Returning the Holley kit is not possible, I've already begun modifying the ha
rness and my son opened all the boxes including the one labeled "if opened this kit is not returnable".
