This is what I'm talking about.......Shelby 1000

The North of 200k is a bit much though. Before I would pay that I'd go for a couple of Ford G.T.'s. That's gonna be the money car in a few decades.

I just got back from a small ride in the '11 GT/CS.....touching the triple digits was enough for me....no need for 1000 hp when the 412 I have does good.

I "Want" to like this car really bad, but I just cant. These cars seem heavy, fat and bloated with technology that gives a disconnect from the road and surroundings. And the solid rear axle kills the deal for me in this day and age.

150 MPH on a Busa or ZX12 is fast, but it does not feel as fast as 80mph on my 4 speed shovel, ya know what I mean?

If I was the last person on earth and had access to both of those cars, I would feel more at home in the older one (Until it rains or gets really really hot outside LOL).

Apparently Shelby's marketing team thought it'd be a good idea to edit the above photo so that it was pulling the front wheels off the ground. :wtf No way will they do that with street tires in real life

Sweet car, but yeah $200k is pretty steep. You could get a normal Shelby and get the rods/crank/cams with a turbo installed for much less

Ya know.. even if I had the disposable income to drop on something like this.. there are sooo many better values for the same money..

Not really feeling this one.
