Finally made another in car video of the fastback

Went for a little ride yesterday and finally remembered to bring the video camera along. I apologize about the quality, someone suggested on my last video that if we rested the camera on the dash it would keep it steady. Didn't work lol. The vibration of the car makes it shake like crazy but we didn't know it at the time. At least the audio is good...that is if you like listening to the rumble of a big block 427 TP like I do.
I had to break it into two parts to put on youtube since it was too long.

I always dig these 'ride-along' videos. Hope you don't mind, I downloaded it to add to my collection.

Engine sounds pretty sweet. Do you have the build posted up anywhere?

Cool, how come wife's always complain when you gun the engine? :thu
She's actually not complaining, she loves riding in it, especially when I get on it. She just couldn't keep the camera down when I goosed it lol.

Don't mind at all. I enjoy listening to it too. I don't have a build blog of the car, it took me 6 years to build it and the past several more to get all the bugs out of it. I do however, have a link to the engine build from Barry Robotnik of Survival Motorsports here http://www.network54.com/Forum/74182/th ... unnel+Port

Whats your average speed in the second vid ??? And what gear are you into ??

In the second video, after I get away from the little residential area I'm probably averaging 50-55 mph in 4th gear. With the 411 rear gears I tach around 3500 RPM's at highway speed.

Yeah it really is, but I love being able to blow the tires off at will and I'm afraid if I put some sticky tires on it something will break.
