What's the consensus on these? I like the thoughts of strengthening the structure, but at what point is too much?

if you decide to any of that, don't buy anything. I have enough steel cutoffs here to "gusset" a racecar...

:thum I just wonder at what point you are just adding weight without really adding any noticeable rigidity?

Bill

We install them on every car. I just started making them because Dynacorn only sells them with the 69-70 torque. I wonder where CJ gets there's ?

why would Ford waste their time designing, making and welding it onto the cars if it wasn't worth something?

Does your car have them? From my research they weren't put on every car. Some cars has one on the drivers side. Convertibles didn't get them at all :dun

Per CJ's ad it came stock on all 68-70 cars, driver's side, connecting torque box with frame rail. I don't remember seeing it on Shag so now I gotta look.

Exactly what I was looking for. Nice to see a visual.

Oh the dirt collector! Yup, I have them on both sides as well. Yes, it wouldn't hurt to install them if you don't have em.

My 67 only had one torque box. I added the other one but didn't know about these. I'll have to add them to the 65 which has no torque boxes!
