What would you guys measure to make sure everything is going back in correctly? I'm fairly happy with the way things are, but I'm trying to take my time and verify everything is correct. I won't weld anything in until I'm happy with the fit of everything. Clecos will hold things in place while I get everything exactly where I wanted. Just want some pointers from you guys on what you would do.

Specifically, what dimensions are you after?

Heck Craig, I don't know. Where would you measure on this thing? After talking to the other Craig on the phone, I suppose I'll get everything where I think it should be then hang the hood and fenders and see how bad I've screwed up :nut

One thing I have learned when repairing the cowl vent tubes is , that it is very important that the cowl is positioned right in the middle of the cars centerline. ( Hope you understand what I mean )
Because if you what proper alignment of the doors and hood , this is crucial.
So , before tackwelding the cowl in place , mount the doors and hood and see if the gaps are all equal.
gap cowl to fender
gap fender to door
and also important ,, gap front of door to A-pillar.
I hope you got the picture of what I mean.

I know exactly where your going. I should have asked this before I tore into it. I have a tendency to do that at times lol.
