Last weekend after recovering all the seats and installing them, one of the passenger seat tracks broke. :skul

Sunday, the starter started dragging when the engine is hot. :skul I have picked up a new starter but have not installed it yet.

Last night the engine was showing a little hot when I got home. When I checked it later (when coll) the radiator was low. :skul I filled it up and drove it to work today. Just went out and before I dive home, I thought to check the radiator again. I do not see any fluid. Can not find the leak, oil looks fine and no white smoke from the tail pipe. :char

Guess it does not want to go on the Power Tour. :guns

You gotta scare it. Tell it you'll crush it and it will come back as a chebby. It will mind it's manners afterwards.

What pressure radiator cap are you using?
Not sure, but I have been using it for 2 years. It is billet aluminum. No signs of leaking around the cap.

Doesn't need to show signs. Even a slight cut in the gasket will let the water slowly escape over time showing no signs of that escape.

Get a new cap.

Something I ran into years ago is not all the caps are the same size. Had a car that would constantly go low and after changing caps a dozen times figured it out. It seems that some of the aluminum radiators have filler necks that are just a bit deep. The spring was at it's fullest extent and would not provide enough pressure to seal and when pressurized a little they would puke the AF out. May take a look at that.

Kick a tire, with a steel toe boot and call it a beotch.

Yea - that's it, those muffler bearing are 8 year old and that headlight fluid is original 45 years old stuff. :sarc

If it was leaking it would go into the overflow. Too much leakage and there wouldn't be enough coolant to recover. The cap may be worn out. I'm assuming you have an overflow.

I do have an overflow tank. If I buy a new cap tonight, what lb. one should I get?

New cap, still lost water but at least this time I found where it was going. The Radiator core is leaking. Time for a new Aluminum Radiator.

Off to Dallas Mustang at noon today.

Glad you found it. Just look at it this way, You'll have a brand new car by the time the power tour comes around.....
