Preparing the car for the track Sunday

Good luck in Bristol. The Terligua clone and those Cleveland heads should breathe well! Cool to have your daughter there too. I got a daughter too but she rarely gets to shoe my ride since she has three older brothers jumping at the wheel in front of her!

As for me I hope to be at Watkins Glen in June... Let the fun begin! Love your ride. :thu

the valve covers were the first thing I noticed then I started trying to figure out what engine it was.

Seriously, you have a fire hydrant in front of your shop?

Yeah, picked it up in town when they were updating them. Dang thing weighed about 300 or 400lbs and I like to never got it in the hole. Funny thing is when the insurance man showed up to inspect my house, I got a 20% DISCOUNT for being so close to a fire hydrant. Oh well......

Results of track day. Daughter shows up daddy with 5 clean runs, wins class. Daddy not do so hot and has 4 DNF's. Man on big speaker say "no video cameras allowed in car" so daddy ask daughter to take video to share with friends. Daughter starts talking to boys and forgets. Daddy now mad at daughter but daddy is good daddy and films daughter on track. Daddy now sees two daughters in car but know not true. Daughter tell daddy that boy help her drive and funny. Daddy think daughter is fool. Daddy and daughter both dum-dums for not using sunblock. Daddy and daughter now in pain from bad sunburn, ask mom-mom for help. Mom-mom not help and laugh at daddy and daughter.

Him not know. I did learn quiet a bit. They had something called the "police challenge". That's where you put a police officer in a Mustang and see how many track workers he can make run for their lives. I guess the more that run, the more you score. :hide
