Radiator and tire

I have no idea what is meant by an inline or clamp-in radiator.

I wonder whether it has anything to do with the automatic transmission cooler...

Maybe......

In line might refer to the straight "in line" six cylinder engine vs the V8.

Clamp in uses clamps over the top of the radiatpr with a rubber padding vs ones that bolt to the radiator support along the sides of the radiator.

Talked to craig.. I don't really know the difference still, but he told me the clamp in was used on big blocks and cars with A/C, which I don't have either. So yea.
If you look up champion radiators you will see the choices, "Radiator inline" and "radiator inline clamp in."

Tires are for every day use, need all season as well. Not sure on the max size I can go for the tires, so I was going to settle with 215 or 235.

Don't have an actual picture of my radiator (will post when I get home). Closest thing I have..

If I go with 3/4 core tubes instead of 1/2 when I buy a new radiator will it matter?
I don't know the current size, that's why I ask

I didn't see a 1" core tube..
About to place my order soon though..
600 CFM carb edelbrok
2 side mirrors. I don't know the regulations here, as I never had side mirrors in California.
Interior kit
steel/aluminum race fan.

My distributor is already waiting for me in California

Still only seeing 3/4 core tube at the moment

Tires are the biggest problem for me at the moment, haven't found out the max size I can go.

The latter. You make it sound like you have someone in Calif waiting for you to make a decision. Don't be in a hurry. Find the correct product, then have it shipped to you.

The alarm I see is your comment: "Still only seeing 3/4 core tube at the moment". Where are you looking to see this?
A 2 row, 1" core radiator is very common.

Just trying to help.

Craig

Here's a very nice alum 2 row 1" core radiator source.

Here's some other choices from Ebay:

Pretty pricey from Summit:

I see that CJPony carries Northern radiator but very expensive.

So many choices........Looking at the choices above, financially wise, I'd consider the first one above, Speedcooling.

About the radiator , Cmayna can give you some good advice.
Don't forget the use of a fan shroud !!!

About the tires/rims , Cmayna can give you some good advice.
He equipped Shag with a very nice set of wheels.
If I could choose again , I would take his setup. Stealthy modified.
