Running out of ideas ball joint issues

I'm replacing my front end :uca and lca's for Shauns setup and can't figure out how to remove this ball joint. Screwed in ones but every time I try to turn it to loosen it, it spins internally with the nut and won't loosen up. Except for cutting it off I'm out of ideas.
 
When I was in the Army the final answer was always C4. :bomb Otherwise, it may be "man the Sawzall!"
 
If you're talking about trying to remove the originals first and are having trouble, have you tried wedging a "pickle fork" in between the control arm and spindle to put tension on it?
 
These are not originals but aftermarket ones that I have to replace now. I think I'll try and cut the nut off first and pop it off after. Hope it works. I can't see why it keeps spinning unless it is completely broken on the insides.
 
Sorry, by "originals" I meant original style. I shoulda been more specific. Once they get worn they just flop around with nothing to keep pressure on them, hence the nut spinning (especially if there's some wear in the taper or it's not fully seated). Getting something in the there to cut with can be a bit of a bear too. I'd suggest tapping (okay, wailing!), the ball joint from underneath to re-seat it and then try. If that fails, drive a pickle fork in as originally suggested and it will put strain on the stud. Just a few ideas outside of cutting. If it gets to that you could split the nut too. Good luck with them.
