Sitting At A Car Show

I'm sitting at our club's Monsoon Madness car show right now. Managed to avoid the thunderstorms and drive Murphy here. Had to dodge several large puddles, too!

Glad you got your show in. I was suppose to go to an "all mustang show" at Summit racing today but the whole state was covered by rain. So I went to Michigan to help my son fix his explorer.

It sprinkled for a bit, but it's nice now. We're doing this as a fundraiser to go to the 50th in Las Vegas.

Went to a show in Alden,NY today. Off and on clouds and the threat of rain all day. Looks like we might be getting it tonight.

Nothing like the monsoon season in the desert. We were down in AZ many years ago in early August and were treated to the desert in bloom and the threat of flash floods. I went to a show yesterday at Sacramento State College. The temperatures have abated to the low 90s the last couple of days, so it wasn't too bad. In June we were up in the 105-108s. It's like living in Arizona without the cactus (we do have the rattlesnakes however). I parked with the Sierra Mustangs. Nice group of folks. I'm still trying to decide if I want to be part of a club again. I like the comraderie(sp?), but I hate the politics.
