Tires/wheels in Cali area

Dave,
That's kind of difficult to do without knowing more regarding what style and size wheel are you considering. Also since your car is going to Germany, which I assume there is snow, will you need an all season tire?

Asking only us Cali boys to reply might not be the best because we only have summer weather :thum

If you want to deal locally, a good friend owns Valley Tire on 9th Street here in Modesto. I bought the tires and wheels for the 65 from him. Let me know if you want to pursue this path and I will send you his contact info.
 
He is asking cuz the car is in Cali. We have been talking and he likes the American Racing Torq Thrust II's and yes for Germany he will need an all season tire. He is already in Germany. Sorry for posting for him, he's like 9 hours ahead or something like that.

I'll second the vote for Tirerack.com. I've bought a couple of sets of tires from them at excellent prices and they have wheels galore. They also sell sets of wheels/tires. You can even see them on your car on their site.
 
I just used tirebuyer.com for the first time. Prices were great and they arrived at my installers in less than 24hrs!

Advice on the 15s. 15inch tires are becoming harder to find. Sure you will find mini-van tires but just be aware.

There are still a few all season performance 15s made by Goodyear and Firestone.

14 inch tires are even harder to find. *sigh*

16's are also pretty limited for our cars.
